On this date in 1978, John Cooper Clarke released his second album, Disguise In Love. It contained the single, "Post War Glamour Girl", plus a re-recorded version of the single, "Psycle Sluts". John Cooper Clarke was a punk poet from Manchester, England, whose poems would often, but not always, be set to background music. He opened for such bands as Buzzcocks, Sex Pistols, Joy Division and The Fall. He still performs.
