Dalek I - The World

On this date in 1979, Dalek I released their second single, "The World". It was backed by "We're All Actors". Both songs appeared on their debut album, Compass Kum'Pas. The release was supposed to be under the name Dalek, I Love You but their distribution company changed the name on the release without informing them. At this time, the band included David Hughes of OMD and Alan Gill of The Teardrop Explodes. The Liverpool post punk/new wave band with a constantly changing lineup called it quits in 1990.
